from people to wildlife is presented and discussed on this
website.
Produced by the Feolin Centre, a not-for-profit research company
located on the
island, the goal of this website is to provide information and news
about the
island and its activities that are hard to find through "normal"
media channels. So if you're interested in the island where
George
Orwell wrote "1984", the ArdfinGardens, local whisky
production,
legends and superstitions, our famous red deer or
the Paps of
Jura, this is the place.
This
website is not supported by any commercial, governmental or religious
organisation. It simply endeavours to disseminate information about
matters
concerning the island that other websites do not provide.....So,
welcome to a free speech zone!
