Blár Buidhe - (The) golden field or cultivated field. MacLeod translates as “yellow plain”. 4870 7760
Blár Buidhe seascape No. 1 – This view from the northwest in mid-Ocotber of 2003 gives ample testimony to the apt nomenclature for this topography. The blár is located in the area to the left of the great forked defile that carries both the Allt na Gile and the Allt an Oir, respectively. Beinn an Oir towers above the landscape in the distance.
