Cairidh Mhór No. 1 - A view from the northwest across the Cumhann Mór down onto the mouth of the cairidh, which is just right of centre in this image on the far waterline. This is the area where Loch Tarbert is effectively divided into an outer and inner sea loch, with the area lying to the right, or west, of this image being the most affected by the Atlantic Ocean. The point of land protruding into Loch Tarbert in front of and to the right of the cairidh is Rubh’ an Sglifein Eighne.
