Cnoc an t-Samhlaidh - Hill of the ghost or spectre. MacLeod translates as the same. 6820 9499

Cnoc an t-Samlaidh No. 1 – A view from the south towards Cnoc an t-Suidhe Mór. This is an example of a mis-placed toponym, or place name, as the position of the name does not correspond with the described feature, i.e. a cnoc or hill. It is proposed that the low hill in the image centre beyond the fence line is the cnoc in question. In any instance, this image covers the entire landscape surrounding the recorded map position of the place name.
