Cruach na Seilcheig landscape

Cruach na Seilcheig No. 1 – A view taken from the southwest atop Sgorr Mhór.  The extreme geological processes that have created the island are evident in the rock layers.  Although the peak appears to be quite close, it is actually almost a kilometre away and is separated from Sgorr Mhór by a deep defile through which the Allt nan Dearc flows.
