Eilean Beag - Little island.  6840 0110

Eilean Beag No. 1 – Taken from the southeast between autumnal squalls, the island shows its precarious position on the southwest periphery of the Corryvreckan. The incoming tide can be seen on the left of the image beginning to collide with waters pushing through from the west.  Only large vessels or those with extraordinarily powerful engines would be able to escape the destructive forces of the Corryvreckan by the time they had passed Eilean Beag.
