Feadan an Fheidh - Whistling crevice of (the) deer. 6300 9400

Feadan an Fheidh
No. 1 – A
view from Cruach an Uillt Fhearna to the north with the top
of the Ben Garrisdale massif blanketed in cloud shadow.
The feadan
is the crevice like feature that traverses across the mid-slope of the
massif
at a downward angle, left to right. It begins beneath the massive
exposed rock
outcrop that is Creag Mhór, left, then across the entire
structure
before it passes out of sight on the right, just beneath the cloud
shadow,
where it then diminishes into Loch Caorach. The image
below in black and white shows the feadan
just northwest of Loch nan Caorach.
