Kinuachdrachd
Harbour No. 1 – In this view from the
northeast the remaining inhabited
building of Kinuachdrachd, white, is clearly visible. The
harbour,
which has a Telford inspected quay on the
left of the small bay, was a major
ferry point to mainlaind until the early 1930s. Creag
Shlochdach is the
dominant hill on the left of the image, the burn of Allt na
Muchdalaich
courses down the wooded cleft left of centre with the Bealach Cnoc
nan Coileach
right of centre. The hill on the right side of the bealach
is Cnoc nan
Coileach.
