Loch Sgitheig landscape

Loch Sgitheig No. 1 – A view from the northeast of the loch. This view shows the loch’s relationship to Sruthan na Criche and Glac Fhada, both of which begin at the bottom left and top left of the loch, respectively, and then wander towards the south, or left in this image.  The numerous small hills and the equally numerous patches of bracken give mute testimony to the landscape’s former fertility and utility to mankind.
