Sgriob na Caillich landscape

Sgrioba na Caillich No. 1 – Easily one of Jura’s most unique geological features, yet rarely seen except by the ardent hiker, “The Witch’s Trail” or “walk” as some would have it, is probably comprised of glacial rock debris.  Having been wedged between two parallel ice streams over time the debirs would have come to rest on the current surface after glacial melting.  This is a view from the northwest alongside Loch na Sgrioba with Beinn an Oir beyond.
