Tráigh a’ Mhidair panorama No. 2 – A view from the west of the tráigh with the Dubh Bheinn massif seen beyond. Note the low sand dunes between the rock outcrops. It has been speculated by geologists that these are the remains of an ancient beach that joined Jura to the Isles of Colonsay and Oronsay some 11,000 years ago.
