Uirigh Ghlas - Grey rock shelf (direct translation as "couch or pallet"). MacLeod translates as the “green seat”. 6750 9955

Uirigh Ghlas No. 1 – In this extraordinary view from the southwest atop Sgorr Mhór, four islands and the west Scottish mainland can be seen. Uirigh Ghlas is lit by the sunlight, while cloud shadow masks a pool of water on Sgor Mhór’s peak in the foreground. The end of the small islet Eilean Mór can be seen in the western approach to the Corryvreckan, with the Isle of Scarba behind. In the left distance are the Holy Isles, while behind on the horizon is the mainland.
